Q: How to apply for S3I 2026 license?
A:
We provide 90-day trial license. Please go to this link to submit the application form https://share.hsforms.com/1qL-rNp9fSW-q_WLLsyJ9GAdi57l
Upon we received the application, we will issue a license within 3 working days. Once the reseller/customer receive the code, he can activate it directly via the 'SnLock' https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LyEzmtn1YVkFI1ypVhXM_RY_u8IexbJv/view?usp=sharing.
Notice: The activation codes for previous versions of the inspect software also apply to S3I 2026. For users who have never used SHINING3D Inspect software, activation codes can be requested through the link.
Q: Does the software support deactivation and reactivate on the 2nd PC. If yes, how?
A:
The software supports reactivation. The specific procedure is illustrated below:
- Extract the H2H file via SnLock.
- Email the file to metrology_support@shining3d.com and specify the reason for the relocation in your message. (Note: If you are unable to extract the H2H file, please email us anyway and explain the issue.)
- We will review your request within 24 hours. Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email authorizing the relocation.
- Once you receive this email, you may use your original activation code to reactivate the software on any PC.

Q: What's the difference between the license activation codes and the physical dongle-based license?
A:
The activation code is computer-bound. Customers have one chance to deactivate and reactivate on another computer. If you need to frequently switch between computers to use the software, it is recommended purchasing a physical dongle-based license, which is not computer-bound and can be used on a plug-and-play basis.
Q: If a customer buy S3I 2026 with one year maintenance, what benefits does he enjoy?
A:
- Free version upgrades and bug fixes
- Technical online support
- Support one free transfer of the activation code
- Free physical-based dongle replacement for non-human damage
Q: What a trial license doesn't have?
A:

Q: What is the maximum step/stl file size can be imported to Shining3D Inspect?
